Terms and conditions

Because our items are mostly handmade with natural products, each item will vary slightly in colour and may have small marks and traces of its construction! This is the beauty of the handmade item. It means your item is unique and special! It is an individual like you! The world is full of factory made items, seemingly perfect and uniform, but all exactly alike! That is not what we offer! Whilst of course we make every effort to accurately reflect the product in photos and on our website there may be slight variations in the exact item received by you. But that means – you have one of a kind!

Returns Policy

Bekunet offers returns within 30 days of receipt, provided that the item returned is in its original, unused condition, with all tags still attached and all original packaging.

If the product is returned to us and is not in a fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct a percentage of the original selling price from the refund amount. Please use adequate packaging to protect your package during transit as Bekunet does not accept responsibility for damage to items caused in transit.

Once we have received the returned item we will issue a full refund minus the original delivery charge. Original delivery charges are non-refundable.

Please note: The buyer must cover the cost of the return postage.

All efforts will be made to process any return immediately, however please note, it can take up to 21 days from the date Bekunet receives your return to process. Once it has been received and confirmation checks that the item and packaging is in undamaged condition, a refund will be issued via your original payment method. Funds can take a few days to appear on your bank statement depending on your card issuer.

 
For our OVERSEAS customers

Please make sure when you return your goods to us, your parcel clearly states that it is an unwanted item you are returning and that duty has already been paid. This will ensure that your returned goods are not held in UK customs, which could otherwise result in delays in processing your refund.

Returns cannot be accepted on discounted products.

Products are often handmade and only in limited sized batches and so stock levels change on a daily basis. If an item you like is sold out, please contact me for an estimate as to when it can be made available again.

Products are often handmade in small batches, stock levels change daily, and popular items often do sell out quickly – but that doesn’t mean we can’t priorities your request if you can wait just a little.

Faulty Items

Our products are 100% handmade by artisans and craftsmen from all over the world. Hand crafted products have quirks, makers marks and flaws and imperfections that show the signs and process by which they are made – and that is what we love about handmade products!  We pride ourselves on providing quality products with quality material however.

Due to the hand-crafted nature of our products, there may be minor flaws & imperfections, which we believe are characteristics of the processes and add to the beauty and individuality of the items.

If you believe an item to be faulty or it is not the item you have ordered we are happy to offer a full refund once we have received and inspected the returned goods. Please notify us in writing within 5 working days if you believe the item you have received to be faulty.

Cancellations

If you have a change of mind and wish to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible. If your goods have not already been dispatched we will cancel your order and process a full refund. In cases where the order has already been dispatched, you will need to return the goods first that we can process a refund. The cost of delivery will not be refunded in this instance.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit. We strongly advise that a proof of postage certificate (free at your post office) be obtained when returning any item.

Our returns policy complies with The Distance Selling Regulations.
