Bekunet seeks to cherish and discover the traditional skillsets, the handmade, the cultural history of a product. It is easy to buy a product from a mass produced factory or even to order handmade goods online and dismiss the story behind its creation…. The place and hands from where it came.

I like to travel to the source of the product. To learn of the people who made it – of the time they spent to learn the skill to make it, and the generations who developed the craft and style.
